Now lets say you define "you" as your whole brain activity, and i define it as each and every one of your personalities/identities.
Now i say that "a tulpa is not you". However you say that "a tulpa is you". Who is right?(edited)
berockly (TTG)
In conclusion: Tulpas are not objectively a part of you | they are also not objectively not a part of you

Lets make it even simpler for you in fact.
Now lets say you define "owaba" (an arbitrary word i just created) as your whole brain activity, and i define it as each and every one of your personalities/identities.
Now i say that "a tulpa is not owaba". However you say that "a tulpa is in fact owaba". Who is right?

To convince someone to switch definitions you dont prove "you are right" you prove "that your definition is more usefull" in this case, in tulpamancy your definition is both useless and completely non-intuitive.
With everything yall threw at me I tried my best to answer all of them and yet all you guys do it just tell me I'm wrong and bring up nonsensical scenerios
this is a server where we all talk to voices in our head and you wanted a conversation that didnt have nonsensical scenarios? That’s your flaw right there
There has been no fact being discussed in this conversation so "ignorant" makes no sense.

Will you be open to do this excercise?

Let me put it to you like this: "a tulpa is you" is correct, because you can define yourself as your mind
"A tulpa is not you" is correct because you can ALSO not define yourself as your entire mind
"You" is subjective, therefore you cannot say it can only be the mind
the problem is you are using wrong tool to understand
you use logic that suits your view
you don't ask what is people's experience.
tulpamancy is an experiential practice, not logic
I think the problem is that we’ve presented our opinions about tulpamancy, which you’re trying to understand, and instead of hearing the points, you press for more information. Personally I’m not gonna argue either way because everyone has their opinions on the matter, but these people have given you the correct information regarding tulpamancy. Just my two cents
We are not trying to prove that a tulpa is not you, we are saying that a tulpa is not necesarily you because there is no need to define that word exactly the way you do.
